Privacy Policy
Last updated October 30, 2026
This policy explains what information Xermio (“we”, “us”) collects through xermio.com, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Our apps have their own policies — for example, blyn’s privacy policy.
Short version
- We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site.
- If you join the resources waitlist, we store your email address to send you updates.
- If you book a call or email us, we use your details only to reply and work with you.
- We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits — which pages are viewed, how people arrive (for example from search or a link), the type of device and browser, approximate location (country or city), and actions such as clicking “Book a call” or joining the waitlist. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart. It does not log or store full IP addresses, and we never send it your name or email address.
Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, at most 14 months. You can block it by declining or deleting cookies in your browser, using a content blocker, or installing Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Resources waitlist and newsletter
When you join the waitlist we store your email address, which part of the site you signed up from, and the date. We use it only to send you updates about Xermio Resources — templates, guides, skill files — and the occasional newsletter. The list is stored with our database provider, InsForge, in the United States.
Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can write to contact@xermio.com and we’ll remove you. We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Booking a call
Calls are booked through Google Calendar’s appointment scheduling and held on Google Meet. When you book, Google collects the name, email address and any answers you enter and shares them with us so we can hold the call. Google’s privacy policy applies to its booking page.
When you email us
If you write to contact@xermio.com or support@xermio.com, we keep the conversation for as long as we need it to answer you, work on your project, and keep ordinary business records.
Who processes data for us
- Google — Analytics, Calendar and Meet
- InsForge — the database that stores the waitlist
- Our website hosting provider, which keeps standard server logs for security and reliability
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We share only what each one needs to provide its service.
Legal bases (EU and UK visitors)
We rely on your consent for the waitlist, on steps you ask us to take before working together for bookings and emails, and on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site for analytics.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email contact@xermio.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is meant for founders and businesses, not for children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Questions? Write to contact@xermio.com.
